We are very pleased to introduce Helen Russell-Johnson who is our Liberal Democrat candidate in the current by-election to the Borough Council of King's Lynn and West Norfolk.

Helen grew up in King's Lynn and lives in the ward of St Margaret's with St Nicholas. She is chair of the local UNICEF supporters group, a member of the Ward Forum and vice-chair of King's Lynn Civic Society.

Helen's priorities are to ensure that mental health care provision is enhanced by the planned move to Chatterton House, that St James Medical Practice remains accessible to all patients if relocated, and that Hardings Way remains a safe route for pedestrians especially the schoolchildren that use it daily.

Many EU citizens live in central King's Lynn and Helen wants to be a voice on the Borough Council for all residents, and to ensure that the town is an open and welcoming place for everyone.

Polling day is Thursday 3rd August.
