Your chance to vote for positive change in Fairstead and North Lynn

For too long the Labour party have been representing both wards and residents are fed up. Fed up with the litter, fed up with the fly-tipping, fed up with the anti-social behaviour and mini-motorbikes, fed up with crime and drugs.

By-elections are taking place on 5th June 2025 for King’s Lynn West Norfolk Borough Council and residents have a chance to vote for change.

These elections provide an opportunity for local people to elect representatives who truly listen and take action.

The Liberal Democrats have selected Crystal Colwell to represent Fairstead. Crystal has a track record of fighting for people who have suffered serious injuries and injustice. She supports local charities, helps them raise money and has been a trustee.

Geri Sayers has been chosen to represent North Lynn. Geri has cared for people as an NHS worker and a union representative helping people who need support.

Both ladies live locally, are community champions, and know how to get things done.  They appreciate the amount of hard work and dedication that is required to stand up for our area.  They are determined to give residents a strong voice on the issues that matter most, whether it’s the state of our NHS, the litter in the streets, or declining public services.

Since 2021, the Liberal Democrats have won three by-elections in West Norfolk, and this contest is shaping up to be a straight fight between the Lib Dems and Reform. Many local residents have already spoken to a Liberal Democrat campaigners, often saying it was the first time in decades they had seen a politician making an effort in their community. Unlike Reform, the Lib Dems are tried and tested, and work year-round, not just at election time.

Crystal, Geri and the team are out listening to residents every day, but they need your help to win these seats. If you would like to support the campaign, please contact Cllr Rob Colwell at libdemrob@colwells.co.uk  .

Free To Be Who You Are

As liberals, we believe that true equality is achieved when individuals are not only free from prejudice and discrimination, but also free to fulfil their potential. So fighting for LGBTQ+ rights is not a choice Liberals make.
